Brandon and Leslie's wedding was the epitome of a picture perfect vintage theme. They were so easy-going and we were able to capture some beautiful pictures...
Between Paarl & Rawsonville, nestled alongside the N1 is a little lodge called Du Kloof. It was against this stunning backdrop that Karl & Erin said their "I do!"
This was definitely a wedding with a difference...
What started out as a maternity shoot and what was supposed to be a surprise engagement, turned into a surprise wedding for the bride. Over time Ryan managed to find out exactly what Amy would like for her special day and then proceeded to put his plan into action. The unsuspecting Amy thought she was going to do a maternity shoot and ended up getting engaged at Constantia Meadows. She thought that was it, however Paul got them to pack up and move to Wynberg park for her "Engagement shoot" but instead was met with close friends and immediate family for her special day.
Amy was positively glowing and I don't think Ryan could have smiled any bigger than he did on this day. Congrats to the happily married couple, to many more adventurous years ahead.
Justin & Paul have been neighbours all their lives. So when Justin popped the question, it was a joy to be asked to capture their special day. The venue was Welbeloond, just off the N7. The weather was a blistering 26 degrees. The bride and groom were stunning. And THIS was their special day...
We first met Kim and Eugene when they did their family shoot with us earlier this year. Immediately we took to Kim's infectious laugh and Eugene's cool demeanor. We were so honoured to be asked to capture their gorgeous wedding day and meet the extended family.
This gorgeous wintry wedding was shot at Le Chandeleur in Paarl. We met Anita and Brent a few weeks prior to their wedding and we absolutely fell in love with Anita's bubbly personality. Brent is quiet and so unassuming and seems to take everything in his stride, and it shows in their wedding photographs.
Saturday 26th November was the day Andrew and Taryn took their matrimonial vows at St Martin's in Bergvliet. A hot day didn't deter these two from ensuring that this day was memorable -not just for themselves but for their family and friends..
To say that this wedding was unique, is an understatement. From handmade hessian and button bouquets (with granny's broach as the piece de resistance), to homemade paper flowers as a centrepiece. Even the vintage colours of maroon and grey as the wedding colour made for an unusual set up. But a beautiful day and fun loving couple, made this wedding so very special... Meet Nicole and Richard.
Vredenheim is a 321 year-old wine farm with a 221 year old Historic Cape Dutch homestead, set against the majestic backdrop of the Helderberg Mountains, in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands. These conditions made it the perfect venue for Nicole and Lee's special day.
Roland is a childhood friend. So when he asked me to capture his wedding memories, I didn't hesitate. These are some of the pictures capturing their magical day.
